So we all know what happened at our rock night last year, remember? The one we never actually got play at?
Well we were determined to come back bigger and better in every way this year, choosing The Dead Famous Liquor Lounge as our Newquay venue. We're big fans, it's got a great stage, a cool rocky vibe and it turns out an awesome green room for bands to hang out in.
The Fangs of the Dodo
We had a stellar lineup with The Fangs of the Dodo kicking things off. The 5 piece set the bar high with their slick set and captivating presence - I think it's safe to say everyone was seriously impressed, we'll definitely be gigging again with them again soon.
City in Chaos
City in Chaos came on next and took things up a notch to full-on metal, again it looks like we'll be sharing a stage with these guys next year, so look out for that.
50 Year Storm
We were on next and unleashed our full set which went down a storm. The crowd was huge and really got into the spirit of things with a mosh pit kicking off at the front. Damon even went for a stage dive which needs a bit more practice on his part and a fair warning for the crowd too.
Moriaty
Moriaty closed the night off, blowing everyone away with their huge sound and rock 'n roll attitude. They had the crowd in the palm of their hands and certainly proved that this was the Halloween party of all Halloween parties and the place to be this year. We're absolutely massive fans of these boys and were so honoured to have them play - thanks fellas!
It turned out to be a hell of a night with all bands giving it their all in front of a big crowd, all out in their Halloween finest.
