We just experienced one of THE most incredible weekends supporting KING CREATURE on their acoustic 3 day mini tour to promote their brand new EP - 'To The Bone'. Firstly, if you haven't had a chance to hear the new EP, or even King Creature for that matter, download/stream/buy it now. It's King Creature as you know and love them, heavy rock yet stripped back acoustically, touching on a darker Americana vibe that we fell in love with. The kind of music you want to nod to whilst sipping Bulleit bourbon after a long hard slog across a dirt road on a Harley.
We were invited along, having only played our own acoustic version of our alt-rock set to a few people in the past. It certainly was an incredible opportunity for us to get our music heard by hundreds. All three nights were absolutely rammed full of people, turning out in their masses to support KC. The first, on Thurs 10th Jan, we played The New Inn in Tywardreath. Friday 11th Jan saw us in The Old Ale House in Truro, where people queued to get in and the bar was heaving! Finally on Sat 12th Jan we played in The Queens Head St. Stephens .
50 Year Storm want to thank the lads from KC, the masses that turned out at each gig, the venues for looking after us and everyone who bought our CDs. We've received nothing but incredible feedback since from new fans and a true pat on the back from the KC guys.
