BACKGROUND...

Formed in the Autumn of 2016, the 3 piece from Cornwall came together with the joint vision to create ‘riffs and dreams’, going on to perform across the UK and Europe, rocking prominent slots at numerous festivals. After the success of their single Bulleit, 50 Year Storm were invited to play for the American whiskey brand Bulleit at their annual Bulleit Palooza festivals in Austria and Germany. "The guitars are as sharp as a razor and the drums pound like a Viking warship at full pelt" - Listen With Monger reviewing single 'Bulleit'.

2017’s debut EP ‘Distressor’ was recorded by music heavy weight John Cornfield (Muse, Oasis, Supergrass) and showcases the band’s love for dirty blues and dark lyrics. "The ferocity on tracks like Naughty Coffee and Cold Teeth is just incredible... flippin' bravo" - BBC Introducing reviewing EP Distressor.

From 2020 - 2022, the band took a heavier turn, developing their punchy synth sounds and focusing on guitars with attitude, going on to release The Fanlight, Intravenous and Grace.
